I’m Carina, the founder of Organicurls. My journey with hair started long before this brand. I have been a self-taught braider since I was 15 and over the years, I have worked with so many different hair types, textures, and concerns. My clients kept coming back, not just for the styles but because of the way I cared for their hair. I always believed hair deserved more than just a “look”—it needed care, hydration, and protection to truly thrive.

But even with all my experience, I still fell into the same cycle many of us do. I believed the stereotype that hair growth meant constantly buying new products, trying whatever was trending, and following routines that weren’t made for me. I wasted time and money on products that overpromised and underdelivered. I’d buy one thing for hydration, another for growth, another for breakage—and none of them worked together. That’s when I realized the key to real hair growth wasn’t about collecting products; it was about balance. I needed something simple yet powerful—something that nourished my scalp, retained moisture, and supported healthy length retention, all in one.

When I started experimenting with natural blends for my own hair, I knew I wanted something effective but easy to use.
